Community Guidelines
What we expect from everyone who uses Katoola Events.

These Community Guidelines explain the standards, behaviours, and conduct expectations for all users, organisers, attendees, partners, promoters, venues, and businesses using Katoola Events ("Katoola"). Katoola is owned and operated by LevelOn Capital. Katoola exists to help people: - discover events, - host events, - build communities, - create experiences, - and operate events more effectively. To protect the integrity of the platform, all users must use Katoola responsibly and respectfully.
1. Respect the Community
Users and organisers must:
- treat others respectfully,
- communicate honestly,
- avoid harassment,
- avoid abusive behaviour,
- and engage responsibly on the platform.
Katoola does not permit:
- hate speech,
- threats,
- intimidation,
- harassment,
- targeted abuse,
- discrimination,
- or conduct that creates unsafe platform environments.
2. No Fraud or Deceptive Activity
You may not:
- create fake events,
- impersonate organisers,
- impersonate artists or venues,
- use fake payment confirmations,
- manipulate ticket inventory,
- create fake accounts,
- generate fake engagement,
- engage in scams,
- or deceive users through misleading conduct.
Katoola reserves the right to:
- investigate suspicious activity,
- suspend accounts,
- invalidate tickets,
- restrict access,
- freeze payouts,
- or permanently ban users and organisers involved in fraudulent activity.
3. Authentic Events Only
Events listed on Katoola must be:
- genuine,
- accurately represented,
- lawfully operated,
- and hosted by authorised organisers.
Organisers must:
- possess authority to host the event,
- obtain necessary approvals,
- and ensure promotional information is accurate.
Katoola may request supporting documentation or remove suspicious events where reasonably necessary.
4. Respect Platform Integrity
Users and organisers may not:
- scrape platform data,
- automate unauthorised ticket purchases,
- bypass platform systems,
- manipulate rankings,
- exploit technical vulnerabilities,
- overload infrastructure,
- reverse engineer platform systems,
- or misuse platform tools.
Katoola reserves the right to apply operational protections and enforcement measures where reasonably necessary.
5. Ticketing Rules
Tickets sold through Katoola may not be:
- transferred,
- resold,
- duplicated,
- redistributed,
- or commercially exploited without approval from Katoola.
Users may not:
- use fake tickets,
- duplicate QR codes,
- distribute copied tickets,
- or attempt to bypass admission controls.
Katoola reserves the right to:
- invalidate tickets,
- deny access,
- suspend accounts,
- or restrict activity where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention or platform protection.
6. Event Safety & Conduct
Organisers remain responsible for:
- attendee safety,
- crowd management,
- venue operations,
- security arrangements,
- emergency planning,
- and legal compliance relating to their events.
Attendees are expected to:
- follow venue rules,
- follow organiser instructions,
- comply with age restrictions,
- behave responsibly,
- and avoid conduct that creates safety risks.
Katoola may restrict or remove users or organisers involved in dangerous or abusive conduct.
7. Prohibited Content
You may not use Katoola to distribute or promote:
- unlawful activity,
- violence,
- hate speech,
- extremist content,
- fraudulent schemes,
- counterfeit goods,
- unlawful gambling,
- deceptive financial schemes,
- sexually exploitative content,
- or content that violates applicable laws.
Katoola reserves broad discretion regarding platform suitability.
8. Intellectual Property & Content Rights
Users and organisers must respect:
- copyrights,
- trademarks,
- publicity rights,
- artist rights,
- branding rights,
- and intellectual property laws.
You may not:
- use stolen artwork,
- impersonate brands,
- misuse artist identities,
- or upload unauthorised promotional material.
Katoola reserves the right to:
- remove infringing content,
- investigate complaints,
- suspend listings,
- or apply enforcement measures where reasonably necessary.
9. Rankings, Visibility & Promotion
Katoola may:
- rank,
- recommend,
- feature,
- suppress,
- categorise,
- or limit visibility of users, organisers, and events using:
- platform algorithms,
- editorial systems,
- engagement signals,
- trust indicators,
- commercial systems,
- operational considerations,
- and platform standards.
Visibility is not guaranteed.
Paid promotion may influence placement and exposure.
Featured placement does not constitute endorsement by Katoola.
10. Communications & Messaging
Users may not use Katoola communication systems for:
- spam,
- scams,
- phishing,
- harassment,
- abusive marketing,
- misleading promotions,
- or fraudulent activity.
Katoola reserves the right to:
- monitor reported activity,
- investigate abuse,
- restrict messaging access,
- or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary for platform integrity or safety.
Katoola does not actively monitor all communications at all times.
11. AI, Automation & Platform Systems
Katoola may use:
- AI systems,
- recommendation systems,
- behavioural analytics,
- fraud-detection systems,
- automated moderation,
- and operational intelligence tools
as part of platform operations.
Users may not:
- manipulate recommendation systems,
- abuse automation tools,
- exploit operational systems,
- or attempt to bypass fraud protections.
Katoola is not obligated to disclose all internal operational systems, moderation thresholds, or fraud-detection methods.
12. Enforcement & Moderation
Katoola reserves the right to:
- investigate activity,
- review complaints,
- remove content,
- apply warnings,
- reduce visibility,
- restrict features,
- suspend accounts,
- freeze payouts,
- invalidate tickets,
- or permanently ban users and organisers
where reasonably necessary for:
- fraud prevention,
- safety,
- legal compliance,
- operational integrity,
- reputational protection,
- or platform security.
Enforcement decisions may involve:
- human review,
- automated systems,
- operational analysis,
- and internal moderation processes.
13. Reporting Concerns
Users are encouraged to report:
- fraudulent activity,
- fake events,
- abusive behaviour,
- scams,
- unsafe conduct,
- intellectual property violations,
- or platform misuse.
Katoola may investigate reports but does not guarantee specific enforcement outcomes in every situation.
14. Platform Role
Katoola operates as a platform facilitator and controlled event marketplace.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Katoola is not the organiser of third-party events,
- Katoola does not supervise venue operations,
- and organisers remain independently responsible for event execution and operational management.
15. Changes to These Guidelines
Katoola may:
- update,
- revise,
- replace,
- or modify
these Community Guidelines over time.
Continued use of the platform after updates may constitute acceptance of revised guidelines.
